The Adiponectin Deficit
The metabolic supervisor, understaffed.
The idea
Adiponectin is your body's metabolic supervisor, a hormone released by healthy fat cells that calms inflammation, improves insulin sensitivity, and signals that everything is fine. South Asians average roughly twenty to thirty percent less of it than Europeans at the same BMI, a deficit that appears in early infancy. The supervisor was never fully hired. And honesty requires the comparator note: some other populations run even lower. The deficit is real; uniqueness was never the claim.

How the evidence grades it
Every study is labeled by what it does to this concept. Counting the counterevidence is the point.
